A 25 day, 500km walk from Portland to the steps of Parliament to mark mark the closure of Australia's first formal truth-telling process, the Yoorrook Justice Commission.

About the event
The ambitious event was planned as a 25 day, 500km walk from Portland to Parliament. As the Event Management Partner, our role was to plan and execute all permits, plans and logistics for the Walk to legally and safely take place.
We scouted the full walk route, before releasing legs deemed safe and permitted to the public, to join Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett on various sections. We used Eventbrite as the ticketing platform and added Cultural experiences and exchanges with Traditional Owners as we crossed Country heading to Naarm. Additionally there were a series of events the public could also become involved in, learning about the work of Yoorrook outside of the Walk.
FGE and crew travelled with Travis for all 25 days managing the logistics and events associated with the Walk. By the time day 25 came around, we had over 20.000 people join us over the duration.
